The Trust takes its responsibilities to past projects very seriously so has agreed to help, once again, Colnbrook School in Hertfordshire who want to create a multi-sport court.
Having installed the new Speech, Language and Communications Unit (please see details on our past projects page) they have identified the need to upgrade their current playground facilities in order to further support the pupils'' social, communication and interaction skills. The new multi-sport court will be an enclosed and entirely safe enviroment where pupils will be able to work and communicate together as a team, follow instructions, understand and comply with rules, etc. At the same time, it will enable the pupils to adopt healthy lifestyles and become fit, whilst enjoying themselves.
"It is only through the continuing support of organisations such as PGMT, that we are able to offer the very highest quality of education to our pupils" says Richard Hill, headmaster at Colnbrook in response to our further commitment.
The project will cost in the region of £100,000 and the Trust has committed half of this which it hopes to raise at this year''s boxing night.
