Robin House, Scotland
There was, until recently, only one children's hospice serving the whole of Scotland, even though, at any one time, there are estimated to be over 1,200 families with a child, or children, who have a progressive life-limiting condition and are not expected to survive into adulthood.

The Philip Green Memorial School, a residential school for children with moderate to severe learning disabilities was threatened with closure until the Trust stepped in with a grant.  Further help was given in 2008.
